CLSEN Fabrics – Natural, Light, & Timeless
Cotton is a classic for a reason.
It breathes with you, wears easily, and only becomes more comfortable over time. At CLSEN, we choose organic cotton whenever possible—grown in harmony with nature, using methods that support healthier soil, cleaner water, and better livelihoods for the farmers who grow it.
To keep your cotton pieces in good condition, here’s how to care for them:
Washing
- Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold or cool water (max 30°C)
- Choose a mild, natural detergent—nothing harsh
- Wash with similar colours and fabrics to avoid abrasion
Drying
- Gently reshape while damp and lay flat on a towel to dry in the shade
- Avoid hanging cotton knits like T-shirts while wet—they can stretch over time
- Keep out of direct sunlight to protect colour and fibre strength
Storage
- Store cotton in a cool, dry place
- For T-shirts and knitwear, folding is best to help them hold their shape
- Hanging can cause shoulder or neckline stretching over time
Ironing (if needed)
- Cotton may wrinkle naturally—iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results
- A quick steam or mist of water can help ease out creases
Important
- Do not tumble dry—heat can shrink cotton and weaken the fibres
- Always refer to the care label inside your CLSEN garment for specific guidance
Simple, breathable, and made to last.
With a little care, your cotton pieces will stay soft and true—worn in, not worn out.
